Western Sydney community furious over ISIS brides’ return
Western Sydney leaders are demanding a meeting with the Prime Minister over a decision to repatriate families of ISIS fighters from Syria.
17 Australian women and children have been released from their secure accommodation and returned back to their families.
Fairfield leaders say they have been left in the dark without proper consultation.
Coalition of Assyrian Parties Australia Secretary Jacqueline Georges told Jim Wilson people are angry and feel violated.
“We do not agree with this decision, it’s very sneaky. We only hear bits and pieces on the news.
“We lived with these people, we saw what they did. They were killing, beheading and burning homes, they destroyed our historical monuments.”
