Unidentified terrorists killed three female workers of a Polio campaign
Three polio vaccination campaign workers were murdered in two separate attacks in the city of Jalalabad in Nangarhar province on Tuesday.
All three female workers were fighting against the spread of Polio disease in the region.
The first incident occurred in the PD4 Majboor Abad area of Jalalabad city in which armed gunmen killed a female worker of a polio campaign.
The second incident happened an hour after the initial attack when unknown terrorists murdered two other women workers of the fight against polio campaign in PD7 Lal Qasim Agha area of Jalalabad city, sources told media.
Media reported that the workers were named as Basira, Samina and Negina.
Local officials have not yet commented on the attack.
No terrorist extremist group or individual claimed responsibility for the attack.
