Two senior members of the Islamic State terror group arrested in Nangarhar
National security officials announced the arrest of two senior members of the ISIS group in Nangarhar.
These ISIS members were identified and arrested last night in an operation in Pachiragam and Lalpour districts.
Two ISIS members were killed and six other members of the group were arrested in the operation.
A source in the National Security Zone told BNA that the two senior members were responsible for recruiting ISIS in Pachirgram and the military chief group in Lalpur.
He confirmed that Mahmoud Jan, an ISIS leader, had been killed in the operation by another terrorist in Lal Pour.
Mahmud Khan had a terrorist group in the city of Jalalabad, and this group carried out targeted assassinations in the city through landmines.
Khan Ghulam, known as Khan Qari, another ISIS leader arrested in Pachirgram district.
Khan Qari used prisons and children to transfer weapons to ISIS groups in Nangarhar.
The ISIS group has not yet said anything about this.
