Two men from Glasgow and Clydebank detained in connection with terrorism offences
Two men have been arrested in connection with terrorism offences at the Port of Dover.
The men, a 44-year-old from Glasgow and a 40-year-old from Clydebank, were stopped at the port on Tuesday (November 30) while trying to leave the UK.
Police have today (December 2) confirmed that the pair were stopped by counter terror officers, the Daily Record reports.
The vehicle they were travelling in was searched and seized alongside several digital devices, Counter Terrorism Policing South East confirmed.
Searches took place in properties in Glasgow and Clydebank.
Both of the men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
