Two gunmen kill former Islamic State security officer who joined SDF intelligence
Reliable sources have informed SOHR that two gunmen riding a motorcycle assassinated a former Islamic State security officer of those who later joined SDF intelligence, by shooting him in the town of Al-Shuhayl in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.
On the other hand, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle targeted Syrian Democratic Forces checkpoint with machine guns in the village of Al-Hawaij east of Deir ez-Zor. No casualties have been reported.
The number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, has increased to 482 persons.
The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 157 civilians by armed cells, including eight children and seven women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and manbij, in addition to the assassination of 317 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
