Two civilians killed in blast of landmine left behind by Islamic State terrorists in Palmyra
Two citizens were martyred and others were injured on Thursday in explosion of a landmine, left behind by Daesh terrorists, while their car was passing in Wadi Abyad Dam area, about 25 km northwest of Palmyra.
“A car, which was carrying 14 civilians from al-Badia, exploded while it was passing over a landmine planted by the terrorists, claiming the lives of two civilians and injuring 12 others, including children and women,” Director of Palmyra National Hospital, Dr. Walid Odeh said.
He added that the injured people were admitted to the Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
