Twenty-five Indians living in Afghanistan wanted by NIA for alleged links with the Islamic State

Twenty-five Indians are on the wanted list of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for having alleged links with the terror group ISIS, sources said on Tuesday.

According to the latest input, they are living in Afghanistan. However, some of them may have died.

“Whereabouts of all 25 Indians are not known but security agencies believe that they may be in the Nangarhar area close to Afghanistan-Pakistan,” the sources said.

NIA has identified Munsib who is active on social media and is believed to be involved in online recruitment.

“He is Pakistani and active at the Afghanistan-Pakistan border,” sources said.

After the jail break in Afghanistan, many ISKP terrorists have been freed.

“There are reports some of them are Indian too. Security agencies are monitoring the situation,” the sources added.
