Turkish authorities jailed Islamic State terror suspect in Shanliurfa

A Turkish court in the southern state of Shanliurfa sentenced a man to jail on charges of “belonging to the Islamic State” suspected of being the so-called “Amir of Tal Abyad”.

Sources said that the security forces had received intelligence the suspect belongs to IS will cross from Syria to Turkish territory illegally.

The gendarmerie arrested during infiltration into Turkish territory and they seized documents belonging IS.

The state’s Magistrates’ Court decided to imprison the detainee on charges of belonging to ISIS.
