Three people in critical condition after Toulouse attack in the latest stabbing in France
Three people are in critical care after being stabbed in an attack in the French city of Toulouse.
Another person was injured in the brawl, which took place on Allees Jean Jaures in the city centre at 7.45pm, French media reported.
Authorities are investigating the attack and have not confirmed the motive behind it.
The knife wielder, who has not been identified, has now been arrested.
One man was taken to the Purpan hospital in a serious condition, while two unconscious men were taken to Rangueuil hospital.
La Depeche newspaper reported that the victims were homeless.
Last month, a man in south-eastern France was arrested on suspicion of killing at least two people in a frenzied knife attack.
The man, 33, in the town of Romans-sur-Isere in the Drome region, was arrested about 11am on suspicion of stabbing at least nine people that morning, local media said.
