Three men arrested in relation to terrorism in Londonderry
Three men arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit following searches in Londonderry on Wednesday morning have been released.
Two men, aged 45 and 19, were arrested in the Springtown area of Derry, while a 30-year-old man was arrested in Creggan.
All three will be questioned in relation to terrorist activity in the city.
They have since been released “unconditionally”, according to the PSNI.
The investigation continues.
Separately, the 45-year-old man will also be reported to the Public Prosecution Service in respect of one count of assault on police.
