Three Islamic State terrorists killed in Iraq
The Iraqi Security Information Office released a statement announcing the killing of three members of ISIS.
The statement said that two airstrikes targeted Diyala provincial border in accordance with intelligence information.
According to the report, three ISIS members were killed as a result of the airstrikes that targeted Hemrin mountain range.
The Iraqi Security Information Office stated that attacks against ISIS hideouts in the mountains and deserts will continue.
On May 24, six people from the same family were killed and 6 more from another family were injured in two attacks by ISIS in the village of Islah, 12 kilometres away from the Gulale district of Xaneqin in the Germiyan region.
One Iraqi soldier was killed and two more injured in an armed clash between the Iraqi forces and ISIS members following the attacks.
On May 23, ISIS killed 6 people in an attack on the Xurmatu district of Kirkuk.
ISIS has been particularly active in Iraq and Northern and Eastern Syria for months. Analysts see a connection between the Turkish aggression and the attacks by the Turkey-backed jihadist organization.
