Iraqi forces found on Thursday 3 bodies of an officer and two security members and destroyed an ISIS tunnel in Kirkuk province.

The deputy commander of the advanced headquarters of the joint operations in Kirkuk, Nabil Issa, told Shafaq News, “The popular mobilization forces (PMF) will begin in the next few days with a large-scale search operation western Kirkuk that still include some dens of the terrorist ISIS organization, in coordination with the remaining military sectors under the command of the advanced headquarters of the joint operations in Kirkuk. ”

Issa praised the “efforts of citizens to report terrorist groups, and this is what actually happened. A tunnel belonging to the criminal organization in Al-Tank area was destroyed in Al-Dibs district, and the bodies of the martyrs who appeared as an officer and two security forces members of the Federal Police who were ambushed two days ago in the region. ”

Issa stressed the “necessity of the citizens cooperation in the next stage,” appreciating their efforts in eliminating the remaining terrorist remnants in those areas.
