ISIS have not been shy this year about their ambitions to launch an attack at the World Cup – pumping out numerous pieces of propaganda in 2018.
ISIS’s most shocking image features a terrorist standing in a stadium looking over a football pitch.
The fighter is wearing camouflage, wearing a hood, cradling a submachine, and carrying an assault rifle.
Explosions are seen throughout the stadium, with the propaganda emblazoned with the official logo of Russia 2018.
It reads: “It will be a massacre that has never been seen in history before.”
Another piece of propaganda – detected by Sixgill on May 30 – features long-dead ISIS executioner Jihadi John.
It features the Brit – who was blown up by the US in a drone strike – standing in a football stadium brandishing a knife.
Blood smatters are visible about the goal, and it contains a chilling threat message to fans.
It reads: “We shall slay you in your homeland. In the 2018 World Cup, wait for us”
Sixgill’s intelligence director, Omer Carmi, told Daily Star Online: “We have identified an increase in ISIS threats to the World Cup in the last few weeks, especially since the beginning of Ramadan, with pro ISIS telegram groups mimicking each other’s propaganda posters.
“ISIS has always tried to inspire its followers and supporters to ignite terror attacks in ‘infidel countries’, including Western Europe, the US and Russia.
“With the World Cup in Russia, ISIS probably consider it a great opportunity to revenge Moscow for its part in the coalition against ISIS.
“ISIS doesn’t base its attacks just on organized cells, but also use ‘lone wolves’ in an attempt to hinder Counter-Terrorism efforts.
“Hence, all ISIS need is one pro-ISIS man with a truck or a knife to commit an attack.”
Russia has been taking no chances with the threat of ISIS at the World Cup.
Counter-terror agents have been working flat-out to bust any jihadi cells believed to be preparing for attacks.
Terrorists planning bomb and gun attack in Rostov were busted by Russia’s secret service in April.
And in March an ISIS sleeper cell was discovered in Krasnoyarsk – with nine suspected terrorists being arrested by the FSB.
Previous ISIS propaganda has targeted the World Cup and sent directly threatened to kill football players.
Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were pictured being beheaded by the cult in recent sick mock-ups.
France boss Didier Deschamps and FIFA chief Gianni Infantino were also targeted by the cult.
And both Russia and Putin have been directly called out by the monstrous death cult.
Home Office travel advice issued to UK fans warns “terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in Russia”.
UK authorities have also warned more generally about “anti-British sentiment” for anyone travelling to the World Cup.
The World Cup will kick-off tomorrow night in Moscow with the game between Russia and Saudi Arabia kicking off at 4pm UK time.
And the opening ceremony will begin 30 minutes before the game watched by Putin and Saudi crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman.
