The National Investigation Agency arrested terror suspects with Islamic State links
The country’s top Counter Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency, the National Investigation Agency carried out searches across the State, and took a few suspects with alleged links with terrorist outfit ISIS.
Sources said that searhes were carried out in a few slums with predominance presence of Bangladeshi nationals besides in other parts of the State.
NIA searched in 20 places but it is not clear as to how many are taken into custody.
A few suspects, however, managed to escape as soon NIA sleuths reached their places. These raids come following the arrest of Jamaat-Ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh terrorist in Ramangara about 45 km from Bengaluru.
Similar raids were also condcted in the neibhouring Tamil Nadu, a source said.
