The court of Tirana orders detention for the suspected Islamic State member

The court of Tirana ordered today to keep in detention terrorism suspect Komron Zukhurov, 24 years old, arrested a few days ago in the Albanian capital.

The young man was declared internationally wanted by Germany after being suspected as a member and participant in a foreign terrorist organization, establishing a terrorist cell in Germany to commit jihad on behalf of the Islamic State (ISIS).

Meanwhile, his lawyer Asllan Dogjani, said that Zukhurov has come to Albania for the first time, legally with a visa. According to the lawyer, the 24-year-old was staying with his aunt.

Dogjani stated that the terrorist suspect surrendered himself to the police and gave his consent to be extradited to Germany, but on the condition that he not be extradited to Tajikistan, as the regime there has previously tortured him using electric current.
