ISIS terrorists trapped in Raqqa suffer huge losses
ISIS suffer huge losses in Raqqa as SDF fighters make further advances into the besieged city. At least 15 ISIS members were killed in ongoing clashes.
As Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued to battle ISIS gangs trapped in central Raqqa, at least 15 ISIS members have been killed in clashes.
The fighting is mostly concentrated around Raqqa’s central park. SDF fighters are also defusing mines and booby traps in dozens of buildings in the area.
There are also reports of fighting between SDF and ISIS gangs between Kesaret and Reqa Semra villages in eastern Raqqa. SDF fighters seized a number of weapons and ammunition in Kesaret village. There is no information about the results of the fighting as of Thursday morning.
The operation to liberate Raqqa continues for nearly 4 months. Once the capital of the so called Islamic State, more than 80 percent of the city is under SDF control right now.
