The fighting erupted between the two groups in Khogyani district in Nangarhar at least one week ago and it is still ongoing, local official said.
At least six Daesh fighters were killed in an ongoing clash with the Taliban militants in Nangarhar province, in east of Afghanistan, on Wednesday, local officials confirmed on Thursday.
Eight Taliban fighters and four ISIS militants were wounded in the conflict, Nangarhar governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told TOLOnews.
The clash is ongoing in Khogyani district in the province over the past week, Khogyani said.
