More terrorists killed and injured in fierce clashes between rival groups in Southern Damascus
A large number of terrorists have been killed or wounded in heavy infighting between the ISIL and Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) in the Palestinian Yarmouk Refugee Camp in the Southern countryside of Damascus city, local sources reported on Tuesday.
The sources said that ISIL stormed the Al-Nusra’s positions in al-Balaha, Hayfa and al-Rijeh neighborhoods in Yarmouk camp.
They went on to say that the infighting was very heavy, specially near Abdul Qader and al-Ash’ari mosques, adding that tens of terrorists from both sides were killed or wounded and several more were captured by the warring sides.
Dissident sources reported on Sunday that Jeish al-Islam stormed ISIL’s positions in al-Zein neighborhood in Hajar al-Aswad region in the Northern countryside of Damascus city and managed to capture three positions that were under ISIL’s control for a long time.
In the meantime, the Free Syrian Army clashed with ISIL in Hajez al-Roba’ei region in Western Dara’a, leaving a number of casualties on both warring sides.
