ISIS terrorists nearly radicalised three Ghanaian girls from Bawku
Three girls from Bawku in the Northern region nearly joined the extremist group, ISIS, International Relations and Security Expert Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso has said.
According to him, his outfit intervened on time else the girls would have been lured into the terrorist group.
Speaking at the Faculty of Arts Lectures on Ending Violence and Terrorism on the African continent, Dr Danso urged the government of Ghana to fight seriously against terrorism as ISIS is doing all it can to make some advancements towards recruitment of members from this country.
He argued that with the attractive packages the group offer young people in Africa, and with the advancement of technology, it makes it easier for the group to recruit more members.
Dr Danso feared that with more recruits from Ghana, the group could use them against the country.
