ISIS terrorists killed three Iraqi policemen and wound others in Salahuddin
Three federal police personnel were killed and several others injured in an attack launched by Islamic State militants in Salahuddin province.
Eyewitnesses told privately-owned Iraqi website Alghad Press that a group of IS militants launched an armed attack against federal police in al-Ishaqi town in the Balad district of Salahuddin.
According to the eyewitnesses, the attack left “three policemen dead and several others injured.”
Earlier in the day, three security men were found dead near an under-construction house in al-Ezba village in Mosul.
According to a security source, the bodies bore signs of torture.
Clashes have flared up between IS militants and Iraqi forces especially after Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced the liberation of Iraqi territories from the terrorist group last year.
