ISIS terrorists stabed three family members to death in Diyala
The Islamic State (IS) jihadists stabbed to death overnight on Sunday a Kurdish woman and two of her daughters in their house in Diyala province, said an official on Monday.
Speaking to BasNews, Zahid Tahir, a member of the Diyala Provincial Council, said that the extremists have raided the Kurdish family in the town of Hamrin where they have also wounded another daughter of the Kurdish female.
Tahir also explained that the militants have committed the crime against the family as one of their sons is a member of the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission office in Diyala.
In the meantime, Amr Rafaat, a Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official in the town of al-Saadiya, told BasNews that the security of the Kurdish disputed territories in the province “has drastically deteriorated, and the return of the Peshmerga forces to the area is essential.”
