Two terrorists linked with ISIS detained in Sialkot

Sialkot Counter-Terrorism Department arrested two alleged terrorists linked with ISIS. The terrorists had planned to attack personnel of law enforcement agencies in Sialkot.
According to reports, the Sialkot CTD got information that two terrorists belonging to the proscribed organisation ISIS were present in the area near Dharm Kot Pasroor Road. The terrorists were reportedly planning to attack sensitive installations in the city.

The arrested terrorists were identified as Gulfam Khan, alias Abu Akasha, and Usman Ansar. LEAs recoved 450 grammes of explosives, two detonators, and a 2.5 feet primacord from them.

A case has been registered against the accused at Police Station CTD Gujranwala. Moreover, an investigation has been started.
