ISIS terrorists killed two Kurdish abductees in Kirkuk
The Islamic State (IS) killed two Kurdish men who had been abducted by the extremist group five months ago, said a report on Monday.
Sputnik cited Swedish sources, saying that a businessman with one of his nephews were kidnapped by the jihadists after they had come back from Sweden to Kirkuk province during the Christmas holiday.
According to the Swedish Expressen newspaper, some people had contacted the Swedish agency and claimed that the two victims were their relatives.
The IS insurgents released a video a few days ago, showing the killing of the Kurdish pair.
The Islamic State, in mid-2014, took over a vast territory in Iraq and its neighboring country of Syria, but it was three years later declared defeated by Peshmerga and Iraqi forces backed by the International Coalition. The extremists, however have lately regrouped themselves in most liberated areas.
