ISIS terrorists killed 36 Syrian government troops in Damascus
At least 36 Syrian regime troops were killed as the Islamic State (IS) retook control of al-Qadam neighborhood in Syria’s Damascus, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The opposition groups last week handed over the area to the Syrian regime after reaching an agreement with Russia.
The IS jihadists previously announced that they had taken control of the neighbourhood, but Syrian government did not confirm the claims.
The attack coincides with the regime’s attempts to eliminate the opposition groups from the state’s capital city’s district of Ghouta.
