ISIS terrorists attack local fighters in the western parts of Iraq
Islamic State (IS) militants overnight Tuesday attacked the local Sunni Arab fighters in Iraq’s western province of Anbar, local security sources confirmed.
The targeted forces were a Sunni Arab fighters affiliated with the Shi’ite militias of Hashd al-Shaabi.
They exchanged fire with the jihadists for about an hour, which left at least one Sunni fighter killed.
Another member of the Sunni mobilization forces was wounded during the fight.
Anbar deserts which border Syria have become the hotbed for the IS jihadists since the group has been defeated in all and every populated area it once held in Syria and Iraq.
