Seven ISIS terrorists captured in Western Mosul
At least seven members of the Islamic State (IS) were captured on Sunday in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
According to a statement by the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate, the seven militants were arrested by the Iraqi intelligence forces in the district of Rabi’a, western Mosul, as cited by SNG News.
The report further said that the troops also seized fake IDs in their possession, noting that they had recently returned to Iraq from neighboring Syria.
“Four of the arrestees were senior members of Islamic State’s so-called Jund (soldiers) Diwan,” the directorate said, as quoted by Iraqi News.
