Terrorists attack patrol from Turkey and Russia in Syria
Armed extremists attacked a joint patrol from the armies of Russia and Turkey on the M-4 road in the northern Syrian province of Idlib.
The patrol, made up of 10 armored vehicles, was hit by a projectile shot by armed groups near the bridge in the city of Ariha, on the M-4 road that connects Aleppo and Latakia provinces, according to activists, who were quoted by the newspaper al-Watan.
The projectile fell some meters from the vehicles without causing material damage or casualties; however, the patrol had to retreat.
It is the first armed attack by the terrorists on Russia-Turkey joint patrols. Previously, the radicals used civilians as human shields to block the roads.
