ISIS terrorist group threatened to invade Paris ‘in the near future’
ISIS has threatened to invade Paris ‘in the near future’ in a new propaganda video showing an attack on the Eiffel Tower.
The French city is described as the ‘capital of degeneracy’ by jihadists who warn of a siege by militants and a surprise raid launched from ‘ground tunnels’.
Terrorists are seen forming a cell in the countryside outside Paris ‘where the infantry unit of the caliphate lie in wait for their enemies’.
The footage, released by pro-ISIS group Al-Abd al-Faqir Media, then shows what is described as a ‘French military vehicle’ representing the ‘Army of Satan’ and extremists launching an ambush.
Once it is destroyed, those in the vehicle are chased down before two men in hoods are led in to a clearing and shot in the head. It is not clear where this took place or whether the executions were staged.
According to PJ Media, the jihadist narrator says: ‘After the soldiers of the caliphate completed the siege on the city of Paris, Allah has guided his soldiers to storm the city from the ground tunnels and surprise the enemy with a direct double attack.’
The clip then shows an attack – filmed in the style of a video game – being carried out at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower before the 2009 movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is used to depict the landmark falling to the ground.
Earlier in the video, the words of deceased ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani are repeated, warning of raids on the White House and Big Ben.
A recording of the threat, played on a computer, said: ‘The time is now — we want Paris before Rome and before al-Andalus, after we make your lives miserable and bomb your White House and Big Ben and Eiffel Tower.’
PJ Media reports that this was the fourth episode of the media group’s ‘conquering’ series which last month depicted fanatics launching an assault on Washington.
