ISIS terrorist group is preparing for new phase of war against the Iraqi Army Forces
The extremist group of the Islamic State (IS) has reportedly begun reorganizing itself in the province of Salahaddin, Iraqi reports said.
According to Iraqi media, the militant group is making preparations for a “long-term” war, a source from the Iraqi intelligence service said on Wednesday.
The source noted that the insurgents have also focused on logistics in order to enter a new phase of war against the national army and security forces.
The extremist group, despite the fact that it was declared defeated last year, has several hideouts in Tikrit, Mosul, in western Anbar, and the Hamrin mountain, as cited by Kurdistan 24.
The source further revealed that the jihadists have stored medical and food supplies , and use a US made mobile phone which enables the militants contact each other in a distance of 60 kilometers.
“They even have drones,” the source said.
