Terrorist gave pupils €300 to identify the France teacher Samuel Paty
Two children will appear before a magistrate in France today after apparently admitting that they were paid more than €300 by an Islamist terrorist to identify their teacher so he could kill him.
Abdullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Russian refugee of Chechen origin, is understood to have asked the pupils to point out Samuel Paty.
They said Anzorov told them that he wanted an apology from Mr Paty, 47, for using cartoons of Muhammad in a lesson. Anzorov then beheaded Mr Paty and was shot dead by police.
The pupils said they had no idea that Anzorov was planning the murder.
