ISIS terrorist group destroys Kakayis Temple in Daquq
The Islamic State (IS) jihadists have destroyed a holy temple of the Kurdish Kakayis in southern of Kirkuk province, a report said.
The extremist group has committed the crime on Wednesday evening in Zanqar village in Western Daquq, according to a statement released by the Kakayi advocate organisation of Misra on Saturday.
The organization blamed the federal government, saying that the situation of the area has been very bad ever since the Iraqi forces have been deployed there.
The Islamic State, since its emergence back in 2014, has targeted many holy places of the minorities such Kurdish Kakayis and Yezidis.
