Two notorious field commanders of the terrorist groups affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) were killed in heavy infighting with the ISIL in the Southern province of Dara’a, field sources said on Friday.
The sources said that the ISIL-linked Jeish Khalid Bin Walid clashed fiercely with two FSA-affiliated groups in Hawz al-Yarmouk in Dara’a that inflicted eight casualties on the FSA.
The sources further said that Commander of Liwa al-Haramein-Firqah al-Haq Sami al-Safouri and Commander of Elite Forces of Jeish al-Thowrah Omar Saleh Joma’a were among the killed FSA-affiliated terrorists.
Dissident-affiliated websites reported on Sunday that the Free Syrian Army (FSA) deployed in the Southern province of Dara’a has arrested one of the participants in the Congress of the Syrian National Dialogue in Russia’s Sochi as a number of terrorist groups had banned participation in the event.
The websites reported that the FSA-affiliated Shahid Mohammad al-Shar’a Battalion deployed in the town of Da’el in Southern Dara’a arrested Khalid al-Shar’a that had participated in the Congress of the Syrian National Dialogue in Russia’s Sochi.
Al-Shar’a was arrested while entering Dara’a from Da’el passageway.
The FSA-affiliated battalion announced in a statement that they sent al-Shar’a to jail, and summoned all those in terrorist-held regions in Dara’a that had taken part in Sochi talks.
