High-ranked ISIS senior terrorist commander escapes from Eastern Syria to Turkey
Hassan al-Saleh al-Najam, one of the most notorious commanders of the ISIS terrorist group, has escaped from Deir Ezzur to Turkey after the rapid advances of the Syrian Army troops in the region, dissident-affiliated websites reported on Tuesday.
Hassan al-Saleh al-Najam, a senior ISIS commander in the town of Mouhassan in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, left the battlefield to Turkey via the regions that are under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and other terrorist groups in Northern Syria.
Field sources confirmed on Monday that the Syrian Army troops captured another ISIS-held region in Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing tens of terrorists.
The sources said that the army men drove ISIS out of the small town of al-Kashmah (Tishrin) after they captured the town of al-Salehiyeh in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
Tens of ISIS terrorists were killed and several bomb-laden suicide vehicles of them were destroyed in the attack.
