ISIS terrorist group changes its military tactic
The extremist group of Islamic State (IS) has changed its technique in fighting and its militants have been divided between the deserts in Iraq and Syria, a report said on Tuesday.
According to The Guardian news agency, the militants’ goal is to target the national armies and civilians and kidnapping people in those areas where minority groups live so that they can use the hostages as an economic resource.
The report explained that the militant group has also downsized the number of its departments from nine to three, which are said to mainly focus on military affairs, security, and finance.
The Islamic State was declared defeated in December, last year, but its sleeper cells still continue conducting terrorist activities against people and forces.
