Over 50 ISIS terror suspects arrested in Istanbul

Turkish security forces have arrested dozens of people in Istanbul over suspected links to the Islamic State (IS), according to a police source.

Citing an unnamed source, state-run Anadolu Agency said that a total of 51 suspects were arrested during simultaneous operations in different locations in Istanbul.

The source claimed that the arrestees, all foreign nationals, were suspected of plotting terror attacks.

Organisational documents and digital tools were seized from the locations.
