Teenage boy arrested in north London for suspected terrorism offence
A teenage boy has been arrested in north London on suspicion of committing a terrorism offence. The boy, 17, has been accused of possessing documents likely to be useful to a terrorist, contrary to section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
He was arrested by the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command and taken to a south London police station, where he remains in custody.
Officers are continuing to search the north London address where he was arrested.
