Syrian soldier killed in landmine explosion
SOHR activists have documented the death of a regime soldier, due to the explosion of a landmine planted by unidentified people, believed to be ISIS cells, targeting his motorbike in Dabsy Afnan town in western countryside of Al-Tabaka city in Al-Raqqa.
On July 23, SOHR sources reported that ISIS cells carried out a large-scale attack on regime checkpoints and points near the third station and Al-Hail oil field in eastern Homs countryside on Saturday dawn, amid confirmed reports of killing and injuring regime soldiers. The casualties were taken to Palmyra national hospital.
According to Syrian Observatory sources, ISIS cells in Al-Hammad desert at Syria-Jordan- Iraq border triangle attacked regime’s positions.
On July 20, SOHR activists documented the death of a member Al-Nugabaa Iraqi militias and the injury of several others, where a 4×4 vehicle was attacked by unidentified gunmen believed to be ISIS cells, in the area between Al-Kom and Al-Tabiya villages in eastern Homs countryside, where the injured members were transported to Al-Sokhna clinic.
