Syrian Democratic Forces arrested former ISIS member after raiding his home in eastern Deir ez-Zor
Members of the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a former member of the Islamic State terrorist group after raiding his house in the village of Abreeha in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.
On December 20, SOHR sources reported that SDF, backed by International Coalition helicopters, arrested former ISIS commander after storming his house in Abriha village in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
On December 15, reliable source informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition helicopters, stormed several houses in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The security forces arrested three people running a river crossing used for smuggling goods between SDF-controlled areas and regime-held areas via the Euphrates river in Al-Shuhayl town.
According to SOHR sources, the arrested individuals included a former official in the “Self-Defence Forces” who abandoned his job and opened the crossing with the aim to smuggle goods between the river’s two banks.
