Syrian army forces resume bombings against terrorists in Idlib
The Syrian Arab Army on Wednesday resumed its military operations against radical groups that violated ceasefire in northern Idlib province.
The armed groups bombed the terrorists with heavy artillery and rocket launchers and inflicted casualties on them, an operation official said, quoted by Al-Watan newspaper.
Russian aerospace forces participated in these bombings and their fighters destroyed the headquarters of the self-styled group ‘Huras al-Din,’ similar to Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
Violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons were also unleashed among Syrian regular troops and hundreds of terrorists after the latter attempted to infiltrate areas under government control on Mount al-Zawiya.
The Syrian army managed to liberate 55% of Idlib province before its military operations stop after Russia and Turkey agreed a ceasefire on March 5.
