Swedish police travel to Iraq to retrieve Islamic State-affiliated woman

Members of the Swedish police’s national task force travelled to Iraq retrieve a woman affiliated with Islamic State terrorist group, according to information obtained by Swedish Radio News.

In the past year, a handful of Swedish women that have belonged to the Islamic State have returned to Sweden.

It remains unclear whether the woman is one of the several Swedish citizens held at the Al-Hol camp in north-eastern Syria.
