Suicide car bomb hits security checkpoint in Maidan Wardak province in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, a car bomb was detonated at a security checkpoint in Syedabad district of Maidan Wardak province on Thursday.

According to spokesman for provincial governor, there are no reports of casualties or other damage yet.
