IDF strikes Hamas weapons-making facility in Gaza
The IDF struck a Hamas-run facility for weapon manufacturing in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to the IDF Spokesperson Unit.
As well as the facility, the IDF struck a military compound that was used by Hamas to store naval weaponry. The compound was located near a mosque, a medical clinic, a school, a hotel and a police station.
Throughout Wednesday night, six rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, and five of them were intercepted by the Iron Dome. The sixth fell in an open space and didn’t hurt anyone.
Rockets are a response to an IDF raid in Nablus
The rockets came in response to an IDF raid on Nablus on Wednesday where the IDF worked to apprehend three suspects who were planning to carry out terror attacks in the near future. According to Palestinian media, 10 Palestinians were killed and 97 injured in the raid.
After the raid, the Lions’ Den terrorist group said in a statement that they would “strike back at the occupying state,” adding that Israel would suffer twice the loss that Nablus did.
