Ten SDF soldiers killed in violent attacks by ISIS on al-Tabaqa city and its countryside
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes are still continuing between the Syria Democratic Forces, supported by US Special Forces against the Islamic State organization in areas at the outskirts of the residents of al-Tabaqa area, adjacent to the Euphrates dam which is also known as al-Thawra city, and in areas of al-Sefsafeh and Sahl al-Khashab on the southern and northern banks of Euphrates, as a result of the offensives of the Islamic State organization in an attempt to advance and disperse the Syria Democratic Forces and causing casualties in their ranks.
The violent clashes coincided with the flight of the International Coalition’s warplanes and targeting sites of the organization’s members, coincided with exchange of targeting between both parties, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of at least 36 fighters of the Islamic State organization and the injury of others, and also 10 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces at least were killed and injured , while the clashes continue between both parties until now.
Video by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights shows the displacement of citizens with their sheep form al-Tabaqa area in the countryside of Al-Raqqah, towards the Syria Democratic Forces controlled areas near the city.
