Six insurgents killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pakistani Army
The Pakistan Army stated that the slain insurgents were involved in “terrorist” activities.
In a statement issued by the Pakistan Army’s public relations on Wednesday, it was mentioned that five insurgents were killed in an operation in the Dara-e-Ismail Khan district, and another insurgent was killed in an operation in North Waziristan.
The statement by the army of this country identified one of the slain insurgents in North Waziristan as “Inamullah.”
The Pakistan Army claims that in these two operations, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also discovered and seized.
With the increase in insecurity in Pakistan, the army of this country has intensified its operations against insurgents.
Recently, Pakistani officials have asserted that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is receiving support from the Taliban in Afghanistan and is utilizing Afghan territory to launch attacks against the Pakistani government. However, the Taliban deny these accusations and instead claim that Pakistan supports ISIS against Afghanistan and the Taliban.
This claim underscores growing concerns about cross-border terrorism and the need for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan to address security challenges effectively.
