Shuffah Hezbollah Islamic Boarding School Al-Fatah Central Maluku Graduation Ceremony
Shuffah Hezbollah Islamic Boarding School (Al-Fatah) Oli Hamlet, Hitu Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency, inaugurated 70 students of the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an category juz 1 to Juz 20, in the Islamic Boarding School Hall, Tuesday ( 13/6).
Head of Islamic Boarding School, Ust. Qomaruddin Umbara, in his speech expressed his appreciation to the students for the success of the learning process while at the pesantren.
“To parents and guardians of students, of course they should be proud to have children who are able to memorize the Koran, because the Koran is the holy book of Muslims, and those who read each letter get a reward of 10 goodness,” he said.
He said, every time the memorizers of the Al-Quran read and repeat their readings up to tens or even hundreds of times, “the more often you read the Al-Quran, the more rewards you will get.”
“Memorization of the Al-Quran is not only beneficial for himself, but also a reward for his parents,” he continued.
The Shuffah Hezbollah Islamic Boarding School (Al-Fatah) in Oli Hamlet, Hitu Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency, within 20 years has given birth to a generation that is active in society.
The alumni of the pesantren are scattered in various regions in Maluku and most of them are active in the community.
“There are those who become national qori and become one of the imams of the Al-Fatah Great Mosque, there are those who become lecturers, civil servant and honorary teachers, and some even become the TNI and Polri,” he added.
He hopes that his achievements at this year’s graduation can be a motivation for other parents who want to send their children to his Islamic boarding school. (R/RS2/P1)
