Seven-Year Prison Sentence and Deportation for Egyptian ISIS Supporter
The Criminal Court, headed by Judge Nayef Al-Dahoum, sentenced an Egyptian to seven years in prison followed by deportation for encouraging others to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) and be among its fighters through Telegram and video clips; in addition to taking advantage of an event in a mosque in Salmiya to promote ISIS, reports Al-Qabas daily. During investigations, the defendant affirmed his belief in the ideologies of ISIS; including the excommunication of anyone who violates its ideals even if they are Muslims.
