Seven Hizbul terrorist associates detained by the security forces in Shopian
At least seven terrorist associates linked with terror outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen were nabbed by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday. Incriminating material was seized from their possession by the forces.
Issuing a press statement, Jammu and Kashmir Police said, “Shopian Police have arrested seven terrorist associates linked with proscribed terrorist outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. Incriminating materials recovered from their possession.”
“A case has been registered. Further investigation is going on,” the Jammu and Kashmir Police added.
Meanwhile, terrorists lobbed a grenade at a police chowki near the Sopore bus stand in the Baramulla district. According to police reports, the grenade missed the target and exploded outside.
