Russian warplanes launched air raids on Islamic State positions in the desert of Rasafa and Sukhna

Since the early hours of the morning, Russian warplanes carried out about 10 air strikes, during which they targeted sites where ISIS mercenaries are hiding in Rasafa and Sukhna deserts in the countryside of Raqqa and Homs, without information about casualties, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

With this, it brings the number of raids to about 65 launched by Russian warplanes on the desert since the beginning of this April.

It is noteworthy that last March, Russian warplanes launched about 275 raids on the desert.
