Russian jets bomb Islamic State hideouts in Syrian desert

Russian fighter jets have carried out nearly 10 airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in Al-Rasafa desert in the southwest of Al-Raqqa to the southwestern Deir Ezzor desert this morning.

Early morning, SOHR activists reported that ISIS cells attacked posts of “Al-Qatarji” and National defense” militias in the vicinity of Al-Kharata oil field in the southwestern Deir Ezzor desert on Sunday evening.
