Roadside bomb killed at least eight civilians in Afghanistan
At least eight civilians were killed when the vehicle they were traveling in was struck by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, officials said Wednesday.
Two others were wounded in the blast which happened in Nahr-i-Saraj district. Those killed were members of the same family and included also women and children, the provincial police said in a statement.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
